Watched by ‘Smokey’ the cat Irene from Penysarn, Anglesey uses
Ash ‘Saddler’s Clams’ to hold leather in place whilst making stitch holes with a bradawl. Irene wanted to compliment her husband Joe’s making of wagons (see No.3 & 4) so studied Harness Making in 1996 in Penrith, Cumbria and has shown work at the Amlwch Threshing Society.
